In a career that spans 10 years and 8 CDs, they have explored a broad range of acoustic roots music including Celtic, bluegrass, folk, rock, and alternative roots.
Tiller's Folly is a progressive roots music ensemble, with the emphasis on progressive.
Performances are catered, to some degree, to suit the venue. For Celtic festivals, they draw from an extensive Celtic repertoire; for heritage events, the focus shifts to their historical songs and stories. Tiller’s Folly original songs are most likely the feature at folk or roots music festivals, while they perform a mixed variety at community festivals or in concert (theatre) settings.
