Oh my God, this can’t be true
Another dismal day is through
I never thought that time could move so slow Should have understood by now
It all works out the same somehow
I always seem to end up all alone
As the dusk sweeps through my room
The empty silence plays it’s message in a tune And the stillness of my room
Seems void of all but dust and gloom
An empty place where nothing blooms or grows
In the soft electric light
As I resolve to face a lonely Autumn Night Empty Cupboards, empty walls
Empty footsteps down empty halls
The silence screams but it falls an empty sigh
Like a hush upon my room
And in it’s silence, becomes a lilting tune
