Just Plain Folks Music Awards have just announced nominations for their 2006 Awards.  From the 350,000 entries, they have nominated two Tiller’s Folly tunes - Water At The Bar  and John Tod  (from A Ripple In Time) in the Best Celtic Song category. Buchan Bluegrass was selected as a finalist in the Indie Acoustic Project’s “Best CDs of 2005” awards in the Americana category. Tiller’s Folly won Acoustic Ensemble honours for the I.A.P. in 2001 – 2003, while Tiller’s DVD A Fine Kettle of Fish  finished top 3 in the Celtic category of 2004.

Tranquility from the Off the Beaten Path CD - another Tiller’s Folly’s project featuring Nolan at the helm - made it to the second round of the International Songwriting Competition in January of this year.
