Buchan Bluegrass is brilliant!
This is their best CD to date!
~ Celtic Connection

Speyfest audiences have grown to expect the very best Celtic music around, and again they were served ample portions from Tiller's Folly, whose high-energy performances had the crowds on their feet shouting for more. The band are all masters in their own right and their music and audience rapport earned them the sheer adultation of the Celtic music lovers at Speyfest."

On their fifth CD, Tiller’s Folly explore the relationship between North America’s Bluegrass tradition and its roots in Scottish music.

Invited to tour Scotland in 2004, Tiller's Folly soon found themselves surrounded by a collection of the finest Celtic musicians in the world.

They watched, listened, jammed, performed, and socialized to their heart’s content.

This coming together of influences is the inspiration behind Buchan Bluegrass.
